Project Manager
What you will do
Let’s do this! Let’s change the world! In this vital role you will lead project teams through the implementation of critical processes and ensure alignment with organizational goals and timelines. This role requires minimal guidance and necessitates strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills to drive successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Process Implementation
Lead facility fit, make-a-batch, new product introductions, site selection processes process optimization, and plant outage
Oversee project risk management and tracking.
Develop project scopes as appropriate
Project Scheduling
Develop and baseline project timeline.
Maintain ongoing schedules.
Ensure alignment with departmental timelines.
Bring up schedule challenges and changes to cross-functional site leadership.
Program Alignment
Ensure ongoing alignment with program timelines.
Communicate updates and accomplishments to site and network stakeholders.
Call out schedule challenges and changes to cross-functional site and network leadership.
Project Reporting
Lead and communicate project updates to governance bodies.
Escalate project challenges to site and cross-site senior leadership.
Communicate and promote team successes.
Project Risk Management
Develop and sustain a risk management strategy.
Report ongoing project risk management.
Call out project risk concerns as necessary.
What we expect of you

Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma / GED and 10 years of Project Management experience OR
Associate’s degree and 8 years of Project Management experience OR
Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of Project Management experience OR
Master’s degree and 2 years of Project Management experience OR
Doctorate degree
Preferred Qualifications:
Project management methodologies
Resource management
Experience working closely with multiple teams, including manufacturing, process development, process engineering, quality assurance, quality control, and validation to manage projects
Strong knowledge of biotech manufacturing processes and/or Amgen systems
Experience leading large, cross-functional teams
Experience with change control, validation, method transfer methodologies
Experience operating within regulated environments (i.e., cGMP, OSHA, GAMP)
Ability to forge and maintain strong relationships across multiple functional areas
Ability to communicate and present ideas to all levels of staff and management
Understanding of operational excellence, including continuous improvement methodologies
Ability to work in a collaborative, team-based, complex, and fast-paced environment
Ability to effectively lead and advocate for cross-functional teams, influence site and network stakeholders, and communicate across multiple levels of the organization
Strategic, efficient, and thoughtful decision-making
Experience with delivery of tech transfers, new product introductions, and other projects

The expected annual salary range for this role in the U.S. (excluding Puerto Rico) is posted. Actual salary will vary based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.
