Experience selecting appropriate tools and ability to determine best strategy for operations. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational education/training is preferred At least one (1) of experience within a manufacturing assembly position; electro-mechanical assembly experience preferred High degree of manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude Comfort operating hand/power tools safely and efficiently Ability to work overtime as assigned and commit to a flexible work schedule around manufacturing demand Ability to operate a computer and perform computer transactions accurately Basic familiarity with Microsoft Office software programs Quality focused and detail-oriented Team player with a positive communication style Ability to stand and/or and sit for long periods of time in performance of job functions Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted Ability to read, interpret and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and assembly instructions Operation of manual hand tools and power tools as required in assembly and validation work Operation of material handling equipment, including manual and electric power jacks Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and problem solving to diagnose system, sub-system, and ancillary component issues in the course of the manufacturing process Follow all environmental health and safety regulations in the course of work; compliance with all OSHA standards Maintain proper housekeeping so as to promote a safe and efficient workplace Ability to complete manufacturing documentation as required in the course of work Perform other duties as assigned
