How Will You Make an Impact

The Supervisor, Distribution will lead all warehousing activities within the organization including inbound and outbound freight, maintaining inventory integrity, and ensuring compliance with safety and interpersonal policies. The Supervisor will lead adherence to D.O.T. and IATA requirements and support financial objectives aligned with customer and company goals, while meeting efficiency targets. The Supervisor is responsible to lead, mentor, and handle all aspects of employee management.

Key Responsibilities:

The duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

Lead a team of distribution associates by mentoring, providing timely performance feedback and managing employee-related actions.

Involvement with the development of tools and methods that are required to make Practical Process Improvement (PPI) a success within the Business Unit to improve processes, strengthen quality and drive efficiency.

Manage the shipping and receiving processes for timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.

Implement data governance and maintain SAP for Warehouse items.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully coordinate and execution distribution activities.

Ensure team operates effectively in a cGMP environment with focus on maintaining quality service by establishing and carrying out organization standards.

Maintain a safe work environment, including proper training for personnel at the site, in compliance with OSHA regulations.

Independently lead multiple sophisticated projects concurrently to supervise performance against key performance indicators and delivery results.

Optimize storage and return processes for equipment.

Manage logistics processes to ensure timely freight shipments.

Delegating projects with clear guidelines and target due dates to ensure successful completion and act as delegate in manager’s absence.

React appropriately to changing priorities, impending deadlines, and prioritize tasks.

Manage inventory levels and conduct regular audits to ensure accurate stock.

Requirements:

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain or related field required.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or logistics with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Skills and Knowledge

Demonstrated knowledge of ISO/FDA, GMP, ISO Regulations.

Must be proficient with ERP systems.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Excellent computer knowledge, proficient in the use of warehouse management systems

Consistent track record of successfully driving process improvements and optimizing distribution operations.

Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to empower and inspire others.

Physical Requirements / Work Environment

Position may require long periods of standing, walking, reaching, and lifting 15-80 lbs.

May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) while performing certain tasks.

Position is located in a warehouse environment under various temperatures including room temperature (15–25 Cº), cold-room (2-8 Cº), and/or freezer-room (-20 to -23 º).

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $78,000.00–$106,200.00.
