Job Description
We are seeking a Cable Assembler who has experience with electrical assemblies, soldering, or cable assemblies. The successful candidate will perform various duties such as locating and shrinking marker bands on cable assemblies, detecting and reporting defective materials or unusual conditions to the Supervisor, and organizing materials and tooling necessary for work. You will also be responsible for manual operations such as handling small hand crimping tools, cutters, and heat guns, assembling multi-cable harnesses, and performing visual and dimensional inspections of in-process assemblies. This role requires the ability to communicate effectively with co-workers to maintain a safe working environment and work as a part of a team.
Skills
1+ years of Electrical assembly experience
6+ months experience working with hand tools
Experience with soldering and cable assemblies
Ability to perform detailed manual assembly operations
Manual dexterity
Strong organizational skills
Effective communication
Teamwork
Ability to follow written and oral instructions
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in West Palm Beach, Florida.
Work Environment
The position operates in a climate-controlled environment. The role starts on a 1st shift schedule from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with eligibility for overtime. After training, you will move to the 2nd shift, which runs from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
