West Seneca Central School District Family and Consumer Science (FACS) Teacher - Anticipated in West Seneca, New York
The West Seneca Central School District anticipates a vacancy for a dynamic individual who will help us reshape our middle school curriculum in Family and Consumer Science. Candidates with certification and experience in this field are encouraged to apply.
The position is a full-time, probationary appointment with salary and benefits paid according to the West Seneca Teachers' Association collective bargaining agreement and commensurate with experience.
The ideal candidate should possess the ability to deliver high quality instruction in Home and Careers (FACS) for students in Grades 6, 7 and 8. The candidate may possess Career and Technical Education background or knowledge and have the ability to collaborate well with colleagues and work well with students. Additionally, the ability to maintain an accurate department budget and coordinate applicable purchases with curricular guidelines is a necessary skill. The candidate must be able to demonstrate planning and preparation, instructional skills; effective classroom management, and be motivated to engage in continuous professional development.
Job Qualifications
Required Certification: Home Economics/Family and Consumer Sciences
Preferred Add'l Certification: Business & Distributive Education/Business & Marketing
Specialized Training:

Technology Literacy:
