TITLE Parts Room Administrator CATEGORY Operations POSITION Parts Room Administrator DESCRIPTION ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Parts ordering and maintaining inventory Inputting invoices Receiving parts and updating inventory records. Stocking items by unpacking, arranging, and placing items in bins and on shelves; Updating the inventory system Supply Shop Mechanics with Parts Receives returned items by inspecting items; re-packing and re-shelving items; returning damaged items to supplier Ensure the shop is in good order and in accordance with all safety requirements Communicate and maintain a positive relationship with all vendors and customers Participates in all training programs that are made available. Keeps current on new products and product updates Oversees unit development Other duties as assigned POSITION REQUIREMENTS QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or Equivalent Prior Parts Room experience This job works closely with the software program TMW. Must have good computer skills and be adaptable to the rapidly changing environment of the shop. Experience with heavy duty trucks, trailers and heavy equipment parts Comfortable working in a fast paced team environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication skills between vendors, mechanics, and other employees Track inventory of Eversource gas stock received and maintaining records Track inventory of Feeney Brothers tools, equipment and maintaining records Budgeting tool and yard purchases Keeping general order, organization, neatness of yard, garage, and office Monitor the maintenance of the building Create overhead POs with manager approval Ideally have a 2A hoisters license to load trucks and equipment at yard Fork lift license required SALARY REQ NUMBER OPE-24-00002 LOCATION Springfield EOE STATEMENT We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
