Fairview Health Services Registered Nurse - RN in West St. Paul, Minnesota

Amira Choice of Minnetonka Assisted Living/Memory Care is looking for a Registered Nurse - RN whom would provide personal cares to improve and/or maintain the senior residents’ physical and emotional well-being for our seniors living in our beatiful and active Senior Living in Minnetonka, MN. Supported by a Director of Health Nurse and Resident Assistant Caregivers.

Nursing schedule includes;

  • 48 hours per two weeks

  • Evening shifts

  • One weekend per month and possible holiday rotations

  • Maintains current assessment and documentation using progress notes of resident health status

  • Implements new and updates current resident care plan

  • Coordinates resident health services with internal/external providers and getting orders as needed

  • Leads and supervises timely and accurate medication and treatment administration

  • Acts as support to Director of Health Services to fill in as RN on call during scheduled times

  • Monitors work and performance of licensed and unlicensed staff

Required:

  • Current MN RN license or by start date

  • BLS is required upon hire and/or new hire must show proof that they are currentlyenrolled in a BLS class to renew or obtain their certification. BLS certification must beobtained within three-weeks of hire date and before nurse can perform independentpractice

  • AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross CPR for Professional Rescuers

Preferred:

  • Comfortable using Microsoft windows and electronic charting systems

  • Work experience in a patient support role, LPN or RN

  • Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with residents, families and physicians or providers
