Maintenance Technician Job description Westfield coatings manufacturer currently seeking a maintenance technician on 1st shift. Full time, temp-hire opportunity! Candidate will be responsible for assisting Maintenance Supervisor with facility, equipment, grounds and vehicle maintenance throughout the manufacturing facility. Duties include: -Repair equipment and complete maintenance projects as assigned by maintenance supervisor. -Assistance with preventative maintenance and maintenance of equipment records -Keeping up with cleanliness of garage, workshop and care of grounds and property -Assist with maintenance of boiler and electric rooms -Maintenance of company vehicles -Assist with outside contractors as assigned Requirements: -HS diploma preferred, Vocational background is a plus! -Valid drivers license -Experience in machine repair, plumbing, electrical, automotive and general maintenance is preferred. -Special skills such as welding, soldering, fabricating and/or carpentry is a plus! -Problem solving skills Schedule: 1st shift 6:30am-3:15pm Monday-Friday Pay: \$20/hr Job Location: Westfield, MA
