Maxar Space Systems is seeking a Advanced Financial Analyst to work within our Finance Operations Department. This role can be based remotely in the US. This position will support a satellite program office, and will manage and oversee day-to-day financial planning processes, including monthly reporting, EAC tracking and contract position with an EVM focus.

Responsibilities: * Partners with the Program Manager to execute overall program objectives and obligations * Finance support in baselining process for new program implementation * Support Space Infrastructure's monthly financial cycle. Support weekly reviews of performance in the current quarter and potential EAC changes * Analyze EAC variances at cost element level, including labor rate variances and impact to P&L so that Government reporting can be completed for IPMDAR * Maintain accurate accounting of Contract Value and Program Milestones for revenue, profit, cash flow reporting * Developing reliable monthly EAC / Risk /Reserve summaries highlighting EAC changes, mitigation strategies for an EAC growth areas with emphasis on calendarization of costs * Manage appropriate reserves on program and at Space level balancing risk and opportunities * Assist with contractual proposal, pricing, and negotiation support activities as required * Build knowledge of Space Infrastructure's business to become key financial business partner. Translate and interpret financial data into operational recommendations to improve and accelerate the business * Support Space Infrastructure's Annual Operating Plan (AOP) processes and quarterly financial cycle * Provide ad hoc financial modeling and financial analysis * Support special projects and process improvements within Finance

Minimum requirements: Must be a US Citizen or permanent resident BS in Finance/Accounting/Economics Minimum of 15 years of overall experience, with at least 10 years in a Financial Analyst role. Program EVM finance experience Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, primarily MS Excel Preferred Qualifications: MBA Experience with SAP a plus Active team player and works well under pressure Organized, detail oriented individual with ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy of information Integrity with confidential information Creativity in solving complex problems Ability to work independently in support of team objectives

Our salary ranges are market-driven and set to allow for flexibility. Individual pay will be competitive based on a candidate's unique set of knowledge, skills, and geographic diversity, with earnings potential commensurate with experience. The range for this position is:$118,000.00 - $196,000.00 annually.

Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved; the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions.
