Rate of Pay: $113,080-$123,080 per Year. Standard company benefits.
Duties: Implementation and support of Transportation Asset Management Systems for customers. Act as a key member of the project leadership team who will manage the entire product development and configuration process for customer implementations. Research and determine the clients' needs to determine which features to include on products and pitch ideas for product features to stakeholders and create the appropriate project backlog to define the scope of work to execute against. Act as Product Owner in a software planning and implementation process using the Agile/Scrum development methodology: Identify features for standard product based on client requirements. Guide product management in development backlog prioritization. Define acceptance criteria for backlog items to be delivered in a sprint/release. Provide subject matter expertise to assigned design, development, and QA? Provide subject matter expertise to client staff responsible for reviewing delivered work. Support Scrum Master with execution in sprints, standups, reviews, and planning. Support reports, business processes and end-user documentation. Support training material and deliver training in a train-the-trainer fashion.
5% domestic travel required. May telecommute.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Master's degree in Civil Engineering or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a Product Owner-related occupation..
Position requires experience in the following: 1) Civil Engineering subject matter expertise (emphasis on Transportation); 2) Agile Scrum process knowledge of how to own and maintain a project backlog; 3) Conceptual understanding of Asset Management for transportation agencies; and 4) Jira and confluence.
