The Meadowbrook School of Weston After School Teacher - Part Time in Weston, Massachusetts

The Meadowbrook School of Weston, a pre-kindergarten through 8th grade school located in Weston, MA, seven miles west of Boston, is seeking a part-time After School teacher to join their After School Program for the 2024-2025 school year .  

Candidates must be motivated, curious and enjoy working in a co-teaching environment.  Collegiality, flexibility and excellent communication skills are vital in promoting a healthy and stimulating co-teaching relationship.  Strong relationship building skills among all constituencies and a love of learning are essential.  

The Meadowbrook After School provides supervision and age appropriate activities for students in Junior Kindergarten through Eighth Grade while school is in session. The position is a 0.5 FTE with approx. 20 hours per week and is not currently benefits eligible. The daily schedule is Monday through Thursday 2:30-5:45 and Friday 12:00-5:45. 

Specific teaching proficiencies include:

  • Knowledgeable and skilled with classroom management and supervision

  • Experience with planning and implementing developmentally appropriate group activities

  • An understanding of the social/emotional development of children

  • Being team oriented and collaborative

  • Support the program’s mission and policies 

    Meadowbrook provides a rich, challenging curriculum to all students.  Candidates should have previous and relevant teaching experience.
