Coordinated Care Services Inc (CCSI) (https://positions.paylocity.com/PositionManagement/wizard/2033524) seeks a talentedConsultant for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)to contribute their expertise in providing essential business services to our provider organizations and customers. TheConsultant for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)professionalleads projects and fosters relationships with nonprofit and for-profit organizations, as well as other clients of CCSI, to enhance their understanding and implementation of culture, equity, and inclusion initiatives. Key responsibilities include delivering DEI training, serving as a Project Lead or Customer Relationship Manager for DEI projects, developing and revising DEI curriculum, providing implementation support, creating practical tools and resources, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, analyzing relevant data, facilitating task forces or work groups, offering consultation for organizational transformation, participating in project reporting, adhering to project timelines and budgets, staying updated on DEI practices through professional development, maintaining professional presence in relevant arenas, contributing to proposal development, and fulfilling other assigned duties. TheConsultant for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI)requires solid understanding of equity practices, inclusion, facilitation skills, and a commitment to ongoing learning in the rapidly evolving field of DEI.

As a Consultant for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), you will be

  • Delivering training of DEI curriculum and supports maintenance and expansion of DEI through coordination, curriculum development and revision.

  • Serving as Project Lead and/or Customer Relationship Manager for projects within DEI Area of Practice, particularly in areas of education, culture transformation, strategic implementation support, and evaluation. Leads and coordinates complex components of large projects or series of smaller projects.

  • Providing, training, or other implementation support needed to improve practice in areas of expertise, including developing accompanying materials and supporting resources (i.e., agenda, PowerPoint presentation, curriculum development, workbooks).

  • Creating practical tools and resources to support implementation to meet the diverse needs of individuals and organizations.

  • Working with CCSI customers to develop a customized implementation approach to best match organization needs and culture.

  • Collaborating with staff across CCSI Areas of Practice and other experts to develop and use multi-disciplinary solutions to meet complex customer needs.

  • Effectively engages with relevant data including the ability to frame issues for analysis, interpret data, and communicate key findings to customers and funders.

  • Leading and facilitates task forces/work groups/focus groups, as needed, to address specific needs and priorities for identified customers, engaging participants and setting their expectations, managing group dynamics, and adjusting processes as needed to achieve outcomes.

  • Providing consultation to support sustainable organizational transformation, particularly to promote equity, development and growth of trauma-responsive and culturally linguistic relevant approaches.

  • Delivering scope of services in accordance with established timeline and budget parameters.

  • Staying abreast of advances in education and DEI focused practices through ongoing high quality professional development.

  • Maintaining professional presence as subject-matter resource through research and involvement in professional arenas.

  • Applying general knowledge of principles and concepts in field(s) of specialization to projects and initiatives.

  • Making significant contributions to proposal development and other business development efforts aimed at expanding CCSI services to current and new customers.

  • Fulfilling other responsibilities as assigned.

  • Conducting other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent education and work experience (see CCSI's equivalency chart (https://www.ccsi.org/CCSI/media/pdfs/Equivalency-chart.pdf) ).

  • Minimum of 2 years experience in education, health equity, learning and development, DEI, or related field.

  • Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) or willing to obtain within 18 months, preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience with leading projects, including group and process facilitation.

Additional Requirements

  • Satisfactory completion of all required background screenings.

Salary Description

$58,500 - $70,000
