Job Summary:

Job Specifications:

  • Expected Pay Range: $22.00 / hour

  • Shift & Schedule Availability:  Full Time (4 x 10hrs a week), Hourly.

  • Skill Level: Advanced

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and supervise a team of cleaners (numbers vary from 1-10) when the supervisor is not available.

  • Provide cleaners with the tools they need to do their job effectively. This includes proper training, cleaning/inventory supplies, safety equipment and constructive feedback.

  • Establish daily cleaner priorities to ensure that House is kept to a high level of cleanliness.

  • Provide friendly, helpful service to tenants of House.

  • Set the example in service and cleaning excellence for cleaners to follow.

  • Think critically about the way our cleaning systems operate and implement changes where appropriate.

  • Seek out areas of House that do not meet our vision in terms of cleaning and take action to correct them.

  • Continually search for cleaning tools and products that improves the speed, quality and safety of our cleaning methods.

  • Carry out the “Seal of Approval” process, thus ensuring that our residents never occupy a unit that doesn’t meet our standards.

  • Ensure that inventory items are always fully stocked, and if needing replenishing then doing so.

  • Communicate all ideas that could contribute to the vision of House, directly to the manager and/or supervisor to aid in their implementation.

  • Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

  • BC Driver’s license required

  • Leadership experience required

  • Previous cleaning experience preferred

  • Ability to work unsupervised, self motivated

  • Organized and detailed orientated

  • Takes initiative to complete tasks fully

  • Required to complete a satisfactory criminal record check

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
