ManpowerGroup Mechanical Maintenance Technician in Whitakers, North Carolina
Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking Mechanical Maintenance Technicians to join their team. As a Mechanical Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production operation. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a proven track record of working in a team environment, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Location: Whitakers, North Carolina
What's the Job?
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on completely automated transfer lines, CNC and machining equipment to support the daily production operation.
Troubleshoot and perform all required mechanical maintenance on automated equipment.
Perform any minor electrical work which may be required.
Ensure machine uptime of 95% or higher is met.
Comply with lock-out procedures to ensure client safety practices and procedures are followed.
What's Needed?
Four (4) years experience, preferably in machine repair, toolmaker, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems, high-volume automated transfer line and metal cutting equipment.
Basic understanding of electrical systems, PLC, and CNC control.
Demonstrated ability to read and utilize prints, layouts, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Experience in performing basic machine alignment, using precision instruments in either Metric or English measurement systems.
Good understanding of tool room equipment, operations associated with drilling, milling, surface grinding, and lathe operations.
