Aerotek 2nd Shift Order Picker in Whittier, California

Job Title: Order Picker

Job Description

As an Order Picker, you will utilize picking lists to accurately retrieve products from shelves, bins, or specific areas, ensuring consistency and preventing delays. You will operate with a sense of urgency as quality control teams rely on your swift actions for inspections and loading tasks. Adherence to all specified order picking protocols, including appropriate handling, equipment usage, and documentation of selected items, is essential. Maintain an organized and secure workspace in accordance with company guidelines and safety procedures, promptly addressing and reporting any safety issues. Collaborate and communicate effectively with the Quality Control team to ensure products are ready for inspections. Notify supervisors of any stock discrepancies or shortages to prevent potential delays. Routinely inspect and test all company-issued material handling equipment, tools, and machinery prior to use. Perform other duties as assigned and work mandatory overtime as required.
