Join us and discover the possibilities for your future!\ \ Compensation: \$22 /hr\ Worksite Location: NCAT Campus\ \ Overview / Job Summary:\ WSU Tech is creating an IOT/SMART Manufacturing environment and seeks individuals who can build, deploy, and assist with the hardware/software aspects in the IoT space. In this part time position, data from deployed devices will be used to make informed decisions on manufacturing production, environmental factors, and overall implementation. While a degree is not required, hands-on experience is, so be prepared to build a smart factory environment.\ \ Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to:\

  • Research, design, configure and integrate advanced Industrial Internet/Connected Operations Technology solutions to support an academic manufacturing environment.
  • Design, maintain, monitor, and manage our dedicated district industrial network while ensuring compliance with network standards, policy, and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Experience with controls and sensors.
  • Track performance and monitor progress to ensure deadlines to be met or revisions of the programs identifying needs accordingly to timelines and goals.
  • Coordinates efficient operations specific to Smart Factory.

\ Education:

  • Associate Degree from a nationally or regionally college;preferred.

Preferred Experience & Skills:

  • 1-2 years work experience with one or more of the following,preferred:
    • Data Analytics
    • PLCs
    • Industrial Sensors
    • Robotics
    • Industrial Operating Systems
    • Integrated Computer Networks

Additional Requirements:

  • Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently with little or no supervision
  • Ability to use personal computer and software application
  • Ability to maintain a safe work environment
