Your day to day

A Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

What will I be doing?

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

* Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming

* Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed

* Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed

* Stock, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis

* Dispose of trash and recyclables

* Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner

* Perform guest turn down service, as needed

A Laundry Attendant understands and executes the laundry flow, processing soiled linen and terry on a daily basis, maintaining the laundry in a clean and orderly manner.

What will I be doing?

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

* Maintain and operate all laundry equipment in accordance with established procedures.

* Pre-spot stained linen and terry before rewashing.

* Stock, clean and maintain laundry carts, storage areas and laundry racks.

* Properly load and unload washers and dryers being careful not to overload either machine

* Fold linen in accordance with established procedures.

* Fold and stack clean towels, removing any stained or torn linen/terry and place in appropriate storage location.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

What we need from you

● It’s a physical role and you’ll be on your feet most of the day, so fitness is important

● Occasional lifting of items up to 50 pounds / 23 kilograms and or push/pulling heavy objects

● You may need to bend and kneel to complete some activities

● Literacy skills - reading, writing and basic maths skills

● Flexible attitude to shifts – you may be required to work nights, weekends and/or holidays

Pay Rate Range $8.00 - $9.50 based on experience
