Deloitte Consulting LLP seeks a Consulting, Senior Consultant in Williamsville, New York and various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. Work You’ll Do Drive the development of Cloud-based technologies, including data cleansing and conversions, interface design/development, and systems development life cycle. Participate in the delivery of comprehensive network transformation projects; help achieve the most out of existing infrastructure. Enable end-to-end journey from On-Premise to Cloud, by driving the design and development. Drive various aspects of the full software development life cycle, which includes requirements gathering, application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, triage of defects and change requests, escalations and urgent issues. Perform assessments of existing information systems and identify gaps between business requirements and current system capabilities; and estimate time and resources needed for the development work. Transform detailed requirements into a complete, detailed systems design document; support creation of interface specifications and call flows for the various components in the design. --50% Travel required nationally. --Telecommuting permitted. --Work location includes various unanticipated Deloitte office locations and client sites nationally. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business Administration, any STEM field, or a related field. Must have 2 years of related work experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Position requires 2 years of related work experience in each of the following: o Creating technical and functional specifications, including system architecture, logic diagrams, data models, process models, and pseudo code, utilizing Microsoft (MS) Visio and Lucidchart; o Designing and deploying end-to-end cloud infrastructure, using Azure Functions, Azure Cosmos DB, Application Programming Interface (API) Management Gateways, Terraform, YAML, and Azure Resource Manager; o Performing aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) phases, including application configuration design, business process analysis, scripting, code deployments, enhancement validation, and triage of defects & change requests, utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies, Azure App Configuration, IBM Blueworks Live, Atlassian Confluence, Terraform, and Azure DevOps; o Defining systems strategy and support procedures, developing systems requirements, and designing, prototyping, testing, training, and implementing Cloud technology solutions, using MS Azure Cloud Services and Amazon Web Services (AWS); o Performing root cause analysis and documenting results, using Azure Application Insights, MS Visual Studio, Postman, Fiddler, and Selenium; o Designing and implementing disaster recovery, storage architecture, and network architecture, utilizing Azure Load Balancer, Cosmos DB, App Service, and Content Delivery Network; o Deploying custom developed applications, including process design, prototyping, code development and review, unit testing, performance testing, configuration, defect management, and production deployment and training, utilizing .NET Framework, xUnit.net, Angular, Node.js, k6 Grafana, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure Cache for Redis, and Azure DevOps; and o Recommending, designing, and implementing Cloud Computing, IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service), Server Virtualization, and Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions to solve clients’ business problems.
