Responsibilities of our Fixed Asset Accountant is accountable for Recording the newly acquired assets,
Tracking existing fixed assets, Depreciation postings, recording and accounting for the disposition of fixed assets.
Principal Accountabilities
Review, Analyze, and process all Capital Asset Additions, Transfers and Disposals
Track Projects costs and work with managers to close out projects when completed
Calculate Monthly Depreciation for all fixed assets.
Prepare Monthly Reconciliation of Fixed Asset reports to General Ledger Balances
Conduct Fixed Asset Audits
* Provide reports for Year End Tax Filings
Prepare Analyses related to fixed assets as requested by management
Prepare Property tax assessments
* Performs other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the Department
Wells Fargo Credit Card Administrator/Reviewer
Review Sales tax questions and charges
Desired Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Accounting or 3-5 Years Experience
Experience with Sage Fixed Asset Software and Dynamics is a plus
Proficient in Excel
Must Be Detail Oriented
Strong Organizational and Follow up Skills
Ability to Prioritize and handle multiple tasks at the same time
Financial Analytical Skills
