Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Winchester, Massachusetts
Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity in the accounting industry located in Winchester, Massachusetts. We are seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. This role involves a high level of interaction with vendors and requires a keen attention to detail in managing invoices.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently handle full cycle Accounts Payable tasks
• Manage a high volume of invoice processing on a weekly basis
• Engage in repetitive work, demonstrating expertise and interest in Accounts Payable tasks
• Resolve discrepancies in vendor payments
• Communicate with vendors to clarify statements
• Perform additional tasks such as AIA construction billing as required
• Exercise accounting functions to maintain accurate customer credit records
• Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy in entries and invoices
• Manage vendor relationships effectively. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role or similar position.
• Proficiency in Accounting Functions, demonstrating a solid understanding of financial and accounting principles.
• Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) procedures, including managing invoice processing and payment operations.
• Ability to accurately Enter Invoices into accounting systems, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Demonstrated skills in Account Reconciliation, including identifying discrepancies and resolving financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Proven experience in Vendor Management, including maintaining relationships, negotiating contracts, and resolving disputes.
