WNB FINANCIAL Part- Time Accounts Payable Associate in WINONA, Minnesota
JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Accounts Payable Associate maintains and processes bills through accounts payable system. Assists with other accounting department projects as needed. Understands and completes job responsibilities in accordance with federal and state regulations. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Accounts Payable 80% Responsible for all aspects of the Accounts Payable function Ensures that all bills are paid accurately and promptly Verifies and expenses charges on the Bank credit cards Issue Form 1099s at the end of the year Prepares and submits all sales and use tax reports and remittances; remains current on laws and regulations governing sales and use tax Requests Form W-9 from vendors and maintains up to date files Accounting Functions 10% Back up to Accounting Assistant for various General Ledger reconciliations Back up to Accounting Assistant for daily and monthly reporting for secondary market reporting Additional Duties and Responsibilities 10% Back up of interoffice courier services Assists in preparation of exam/audit/tax workpapers throughout the year Participates in internal and external training and development opportunities as required Other job related duties necessary to carry out the responsibilities of this position ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Work Relationships and Scope: Frequently interacts and works with coworkers.
