Community Horizons is assisting in recruiting the perfect caregiver. This member is in search of someone dependable, compassionate, and patient with a positive personality. Hours: Part-Time to Full Time Various Shifts Available: Please let us know what works best for your schedule. Monday, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays: 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays: 7:00 am 3:00 pm Every Other Saturday: 10:00 pm 7:00 am Wage: \$15.00 per hour Tasks Include but are not limited to: All Personal care Changings Transfers with a Hoyer lift Feeding Cooking / Cleaning Medication Administration Having fun doing things together as a team Ideal Candidate: Good Team Player Has 1 year of professional experience in a healthcare-related field Is familiar with the needs of someone with MS and is legally blind. Someone who has personal care experience including the use of a Hoyer lift Someone who can make conversation about pretty much anything COVID-19 vaccinated preferred or willing to wear a mask when in close contact Has a reliable form of transportation Favorable Caregiver Background check Someone dependable, compassionate, and patient with a positive personality. Someone who enjoys trivia, game shows, music, reading, and movies would enjoy sharing those same interests with someone who needs a personal care companion. Community Horizons offers support for individuals enrolled in self-directed programs through Managed Care Organization or IRIS (Include, Respect, I Self-Direct) throughout Wisconsin. Self-direction gives program participants the choice over who provides services and how they receive them. Community Horizons is not the employer on record, members make all hiring decisions with the involvement of a third-party fiscal agent responsible for payroll. Provide patients with help moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles and with dressing and grooming. Bathe patients. Care for patients by changing bed linens, washing and ironing laundry, cleaning, or assisting with their personal care. Entertain, converse with, or read aloud to patients to keep them mentally healthy and alert.
