Robert Half Staff Accountant in Wood Dale, Illinois
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant based in Wood Dale, Illinois. This role primarily focuses on maintaining accurate corporate accounting records, preparing monthly journal entries, and analyzing data to support the company's business goals and objectives. The successful candidate will work closely with various business functions to ensure accounting accuracy and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain fixed assets and depreciation activities.
• Review and enter new leases within the lease accounting tool.
• Monitor consolidated intercompany balances and record intercompany loan interest.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual journal entries.
• Conduct monthly account reconciliations, flux analysis, and fulfill reporting requirements.
• Act as a backup for Treasury operations as needed, such as recording daily cash payments.
• Provide accounting and analytical support for FP& A and other business functions.
• Liaise with Americas/International accounting teams.
• Prepare various monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for internal and external reporting, as well as audit requests.
• Support year-end audit processes.
• Participate in ad hoc projects as required.
This role requires skills in Fixed Assets, Lease Accounting, Intercompany Accounting, Journal Entries, Account Reconciliation, Corporate Treasury, NetSuite, Bloomberg, and Microsoft Excel. Requirements • Must possess expertise in Fixed Assets
• Familiarity with Lease Accounting is required
• Requires proficiency in Intercompany Accounting
• Adept at Journal Entries
• Strong skills in Account Reconciliation are necessary
• Must have experience in Corporate Treasury
• Proficiency in NetSuite software is required
• Familiarity with Bloomberg software is necessary
• Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
