Role Description:

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Vice President of Human Resources Operations. This role will report directly to the Chief HR Officer and will be responsible for delivering on the HR strategic pillars and ensure a well-run set of companywide HR operations.

The organization is comprised of several areas of responsibility including talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits, total rewards, HR technology, employee rewards/recognition. This position is a member of the HR Senior Leadership Team.

  • Design, lead, coordinate and execute HR Strategy pillars that enable the HR Vision and support business growth.

  • Serves as a strategic business partner in key relationships with our corporate functions team and Parts/Supply business as well as leaders across every area of the company in support of employee solutions to maximize individual and team effectiveness.

  • Identifies trends that will impact business results and promptly develops strategies for addressing those trends, assessing risks and opportunities, tradeoffs and benefits, and impact on short- and long-term goals.

  • Continue to evolve the HR operational support model as the organization grows, proactively identifying opportunities/needs for expanded service offerings and support globally.

  • Maintain and optimize HR technology to enable a seamless, integrated experience for all employees.

  • Oversee company benefits and employee wellbeing strategy and administration.

  • Lead cross-team planning for companywide rewards, recognition, and employee experience.

  • Lead team delivery of support to active and former employees who have questions about HR programs or requests for employment-related actions.

  • Ensure secure, compliant, and accessible employee records. Establish record keeping policies, audit processes, and select systems for storage of electronic records securely and in compliance with all laws including GDPR.

  • Participate in other cross-functional projects and initiatives, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree in a related field

  • 8 years of professional experience working in HR Shared Services, HR Strategy and Transformation, HR Operations, or related disciplines.

  • Deep knowledge of HR programs and practices, including applicable state and federal employment laws and regulations

  • Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

  • Experience leveraging technology and data analytics to inform people insights and business decision making.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Workday system implementation and maintenance leadership.

  • Effective coaching and facilitation skills; ability to advise and influence colleagues at all levels of the organization.

  • Master’s degree in HR, HR Management, or Business Administration or Juris Doctor.
