Planetart Product Implementation Coordinator Intern - Summer 2025: in Woodridge, Illinois

The Product Implementation Coordinator will help assist the Product Implementation Team by coordinating print and production related tasks. The coordinator will be responsible for monitoring production and documenting ongoing issues that are product implementation related. This is to ensure new products are being produced correctly and efficiently.

PlanetArt internships are full-time positions, and interns should expect to work Monday-Friday, up to 40 hours per week typically between 8am-5pm. Specific team norms around working hours will be communicated by your manager. Interns should not have conflicts such as classes or other employment during the PlanetArt workday. Applicants should have a minimum of one quarter/semester/trimester remaining in their studies after their internship concludes. Key job responsibilities:

  • Document new products by taking pictures and uploading them to product image database in the cloud

  • Uses PLM Test Runs to determine what samples need to be pulled from stock. Responsible for communicating the list to the Inventory team and following up on completion.

  • Assist team to document and help troubleshoot print production issues

  • Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with Technical Support, IT, Quality Control, Inventory Control, Merchandising, Sourcing, Creative and Operations departments.

  • Provides excellent service to all internal and external customers.

  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment.

  • Perform any other duties as assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master's or Doctorate Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Admin, Operations Management or Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering, with an expected graduation conferral date December 2025 - May 2026.

  • Able to work up to 40 hours a week throughout the course of a 10 to 12-week summer internship between May through September 2025.

  • Minimum 3.0 GPA.

  • Ability to speak Spanish and English is required.

  • MS Office experience is required.

  • Adobe Creative Suite experience a plus (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.).

  • Must have solid verbal and written communication skills that can be used with cross-functional teams and managerial personnel within the organization.

  • Ability to multi-task as needed and consistently re-prioritize duties as new urgencies occur in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must operate with integrity, mutual respect and teamwork, dependability and ownership.

  • Maintains a dedicated commitment to customer service.

  • Project management course(s) and/or experience a plus.

  • Print production experience including wide format printing in sublimation, uv printing and laser engravers a plus.

Benefits

Compensation:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position is $19.00 an hour.

  • This is a hybrid position; employees are expected to be in the office three days per week (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday) with the option of working remotely two days (Wednesday and Friday).
