As the Senior Software Development Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests. The Senior Software Development Engineer will collaborate with other members of the development team and stakeholders to make high-level architectural decisions, proposes design patterns, and ensure scalability, performance, and maintainability of digital solutions. The Senior Software Development Engineer participates in agile or other development methodologies, attends meetings, contributes to project planning, and helps drive the progress and success of digital projects.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of experience in developing python based applications
3+ years experience in design and development of low latency HTTP RESTful and FASTapi services in Python
3+ years experience developing micro-services using Flask, uWSGI and ASGI gateway micro-service frameworks
3+ Years of experience in leading a team
Preferred Qualifications
Experience packaging and deploying code in production using Docker Images and containers
Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) preferred
AWS Certified DevOps Engineer preferred
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (HS diploma + 4 years relevant experience)
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$97,335.00 - $201,900.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
