Position Summary: CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI: Sr. Analyst, Strategy & Business Development to Develop and implement analytics and business intelligence reporting to measure and improve the effectiveness of various CVS Health programs and initiatives. Duties include: organize goals and strategy to deliver insights through the use of quantitative analytics, dashboards, models, and other business intelligence tools; design and create Tableau dashboards to measure performance against KPI goals and provide insight into drivers of success; develop ad-hoc queries using SQL, Teradata, SAS, Python, and R to provide analytical detail on customer, category, and vendor performance; develop and present recommendations, findings, and insights to diverse audience with varying levels of analytics background; identify and integrate new data sources and analytical tools/methods used to measure business effectiveness to increase overall business intelligence improving quality of data infrastructure; evaluate business needs and propose advanced analytical solutions that can deliver measurable and actionable results; collaborate with merchandising, pricing, marketing, promotions, strategy, IT, store operations, finance, and media teams to deliver cross-functional analytics on various projects; develop and execute approaches to analyze information relating to customer activity, including segment based and migration analyses, customer value changes, and customer activity; build and implement descriptive and predictive statistical models to optimize results; deliver data reporting, ad-hoc analyses, and insights to identify patient-specific trends to support the development of new pharmacy programs and improvements; develop creative, patientdriven solutions for improved patient outcomes; develop data and business intelligence infrastructure required for new business; collaborate with application development teams to define data structures and reporting across various platforms; develop and execute innovation opportunities to validate feasibility, market demand, and scalability; track concepts through lifecycle and provide go-no-go recommendations, and develop scalability plans for proven concepts; identify, report, and collaborate data with various systems and databases to create actionable intelligence; train and interact with business users on self-service reporting; define KPIs and methodology for new program metrics and track program performance; design and implement robust analytic and reporting solutions; extract actionable insights to be shared with senior leadership; optimize current reporting processes through the use of automation tools and technology, and support the data needs of stakeholders across the team; support business case analysis, diagnosis, and solution development of operational and product enhancements; design and develop opportunity identification logic using SQL analytics, supporting implementation, and measuring pilot and mini-test performance using Tableau dashboards; and analyze, diagnose, and develop solution of new strategic products or services. Multiple positions. - Requirements: Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Data Science, Business Analytics, Engineering, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following: Traditional relational data warehouse technologies: Oracle, Teradata, or Hadoop; Visualization tools, including Power BI or Tableau; SQL programming languages; Programming in Python or R; Agile methodologies; Writing clean, high quality, high performing, scalable code; Analyzing large data sets from multiple data sources; and Data analysis for healthcare industry, products, or systems. Pay Range: $98717.00/year to $105100.00/year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
