SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions
is seeking an
Administrative Assistant
for our client in
Grand Rapids, MI
. The person will be responsible for providing assistance in planning and organizing city-sponsored events. Key responsibilities include entering data, maintaining event records, managing the event calendar, and supporting marketing and social media activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain and update the events calendar.
- Prepare event permits and statements.
- Update the events webpage.
- Manage contact lists for notifications and vendors.
- Collect and manage event photos.
- Oversee social media presence.
- Assist with research projects.
Perform other supportive tasks as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2 years' experience of clerical/secretarial/office experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent computer skills including mastery of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
Demonstrate strong adaptability and flexibility in managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities as needed.
