SUMMARY: Management Business Solutions

 is seeking an 

Administrative Assistant 

for our client in 

Grand Rapids, MI

. The person will be responsible for providing assistance in planning and organizing city-sponsored events. Key responsibilities include entering data, maintaining event records, managing the event calendar, and supporting marketing and social media activities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintain and update the events calendar.
  • Prepare event permits and statements.
  • Update the events webpage.
  • Manage contact lists for notifications and vendors.
  • Collect and manage event photos.
  • Oversee social media presence.
  • Assist with research projects.
  • Perform other supportive tasks as needed.

     

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years' experience of clerical/secretarial/office experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent computer skills including mastery of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate strong adaptability and flexibility in managing multiple tasks and shifting priorities as needed.
