Leading manufacturer of moulding, architectural molding, stair treads and flooring transitions in the US is hiring for a Maintenance Mechanic for their out east facility. Looking for candidates who have a passion for manufacturing repair, troubleshooting and diagnostic testing! Responsibilities
Manufacturing experience in a high volume production environment required
Comprehensive electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge is desired.
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Assists in the management of the day to day workload of the maintenance team to ensure the the plant, facilities, machinery and ancillary equipment run to their optimum efficiency.
Takes responsibility for process uptime, process efficiencies, and attainment of specific daily production goals.
Responsible for performing all the routine maintenance and repair activities necessary for the optimum operation of the plant.
Perform effective diagnosis of breakdowns and timely repair of equipment to maximize availability.
Conduct regular equipment audits for preventative maintenance
